Chief Financial officer
Admin – TULLAHOMA, Tennessee
CFC Recycling Inc is seeking a highly experienced and results oriented Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance function and drive financial strategy. This role will report directly to the CEO and collaborates closely with senior management, as well as key external stakeholders, including private equity investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, overseeing annual budgeting, cash flow management, forecasting, and ensuring alignment with both business objectives and ownership expectations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, providing comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership.
- Establish, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and procedures. Manage external audits and offer strategic financial guidance on contracts to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive strategies such as accounts receivable insurance, and hedging risks related to foreign exchange, interest rates, and commodity prices.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, cultivating a high-performance culture. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, lenders, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations teams to conduct physical inventory assessments, ensuring accurate reconciliation of book versus physical inventory.
- Maintain fixed asset records, including tracking depreciation and insurance information.
- Oversee the financial software systems, including RIMAS and QuickBooks.
- Support ownership and management in evaluating business opportunities and potential acquisitions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- 12-15 years of experience in finance, with at least 10 years in leadership positions. Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a private equity-backed environment.
- A minimum of 10 years of operational experience is required.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a solid understanding of business valuation and integration processes.
Salary range $120k-$180k

OCC and Plastics Trader
Admin – TULLAHOMA, Tennessee
CFC Recycling is looking for a highly motivated and skilled OCC/Plastics Trader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong background in commodities trading, specifically in the Occ and Plastics recycling industry. The OCC/Plastics Trader will be responsible for buying and selling OCC and plastics materials in domestic and global markets, negotiating contracts, managing relationships with suppliers and customers, and ensuring optimal trading strategies are implemented to maximize profitability.
Key Job Descriptions:
- Market Analysis & Strategy Development:
- Analyze markets for OCC and plastics to identify trading opportunities.
- Develop and execute trading strategies to optimize margins and minimize risks.
- Monitor market trends, supply/demand conditions, and competitor activities to stay ahead of market fluctuations.
- Trading Operations:
- Source and procure OCC and plastics from suppliers and recycling centers.
- Sell OCC and plastics to manufacturers, recyclers, and other end-users.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, prices, and terms with both buyers and sellers.
- Manage logistics and supply chain issues related to the trading of these commodities.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, buyers, and industry contacts.

- Risk Management & Compliance:

- Assure the quality and specifications of all material supplied to consumers exceeds client expectations
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards related to the trading and transportation of OCC and plastics.
- Monitor and manage financial exposure and trading limits.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all trades, contracts, and communications.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on market conditions, trading performance, and potential risks.
- Ensure that all transactions are executed in compliance with the company’s internal policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in trading or procurement, with a focus on OCC and/or plastics.
- Experience in the OCC and Plastics recycle industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of global commodity markets and trading principles.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the recycling supply chain, including transportation, processing, and end-use markets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and trading platforms.
- Education:
- Degree in Business, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Heavy Equipment and Diesel Mechanic
CFC Recycling is looking for a seasoned or mechanic apprentice that has recent experience working on diesel and heavy equipment such as cranes, loaders , skid steers and fork lifts.
Industrial maintenance experience also is very helpful as we do have various mechanical equipment that often needs to be diagnosed and repaired. You will mostly assist our head mechanics and take daily instructions from them on day to day task. You will need to be able to multi task easily.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Performing routine maintenance and repairs
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
Knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment which includes some industrial maintenance
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Strong communication skills and can work well independently as well as a part of a team.
You will be following directions from our head mechanic and master mechanic so communication will be a priority.
Document all repairs accurately
Conduct thorough inspections,and preventative maintenance to identify potential problems and prevent potential breakdowns from happening
Follow all company protocols and procedures with safety being the priority
Be able to follow direction and collaborate with team members effectively and easily.
You will work in a very busy shop that at times will require you to shift from one repair to another based on need and importance.
Willingness to be flexible as needed in case of a roadside call or weekend call

Local class B CDL Drivers
CFC Recycling is looking for an experienced driver that has class A or class B experience.
Job Duties
You will be visiting our customers to pick up recycle material that has been scheduled for pickups. Forklift experience will be required for this position to load and offload material.
Must have customer service experience with good people skills with a positive attitude
Must be comfortable talking to business customers on a regular basis
This position will fluctuate between 3-5 days a week where you will be driving and processing loads. During non driving times you must be able to work other positions on the yard that will require you to bend,twist, stand for long periods and some manual lifting
Good knowledge of non ferrous and recycle materials helpful
You will drive a 450 flatbed truck and often will need to pull a goose neck trailer
Must be able to safely secure and transport loads by using tie downs
Requirements
Valid Drivers license(Class A or B preferred)
Must be able to pass all screening requirements which will include. Background checks, drug screens and work references
Must have fork lift experience and be comfortable loading and unloading
